
The EI transformer core is formed by using laminations in the shapes of "E" and "I," which is why it is called an EI Transformer. We have two EI lamination product series:single phase and three phase.
Regarding the naming conventions for single-phase EI laminations, they follow the format "EI-XX-?H." Here, "XX" represents the total length of the lamination, and "?H" indicates the number of holes present.
If the holes are not specified, it means that the EI lamination is without holes, which is the default configuration. For instance, "EI-42-4H" signifies a single-phase EI lamination with a total length of 42mm and 4 holes. By default, these holes are positioned at the four corners of the lamination after the E and I shapes are joined together. Please refer to the photos below for visual reference.

When it comes to three-phase EI laminations, the naming conventions follow the pattern "EI-three phase XX CORE-XX." Here, "XX" refers to the middle length and total length of the lamination, respectively.
For instance, "EI three phase 45.8 CORE-228.6" indicates a three-phase EI lamination with a middle length of 45.8mm and a total length of 228.6mm. The default total number of holes in the lamination is 6, with 4 holes positioned by default: 3 on the "E" shape and one each on the top, middle, and bottom of the "I" shape.
